30 Years of MOTEK: 10 to 13 October 2011 at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre - Good Prospects for a Round-Numbered Anniversary – Simultaneous Promotion of 5th BONDexpo

The year 2011 will be a milestone in the evolution of the MOTEK international trade fair for assembly, handling and automation technology. The event which started small in Sindelfingen and made rapid gains in size and importance later on in Sinsheim, is now presented as a pioneering industry trade fair at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre, and in the meantime attracts well over 30,000 expert visitors to the exhibition halls. The BONDexpo international trade fair for bonding technology will be held for the fifth time concurrent to the 30th MOTEK.

940 exhibitors from more than 23 countries around the globe on 645,000 square feet of exhibition floor space and more than 31,000 expert visitors – the 29th MOTEK closed its doors with these impressive results in 2010. Roughly seven months before the trade fair opens again, last year’s exhibitor numbers have already been nearly matched. However, MOTEK’s success cannot be measured in numbers alone. It’s not only an industry showcase, it’s a platform for communication, business and innovation as well. Its latter role was made plainly apparent at the “Arena of Innovation” which was presented for the first time in 2010. As an interdisciplinary inventors’ forum, the arena exceeded the expectations of all involved parties by far, and will be continued in 2011.

Beyond this, MOTEK is the only technical event which presents the entire world of automation – from components and subsystems, right on up to complete solutions. Expert visitors find out about cross-divisional approaches ranging from detail solutions, all the way up to turn-key system solutions. The 5th BONDexpo international trade fair for bonding technology, which will take place concurrently, will offer numerous synergy effects with its presentation of forward-looking bonding technologies.
