CONTROL Anniversary More International Than Ever 3 to 6 May 2011 at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre
The CONTROL international trade fair for quality assurance will celebrate its 25th anniversary at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre in 2011, and will present expert visitors with globally unique offerings. Strong growth is apparent in particular in the field of “contactless measuring technology”.
Since CONTROL opened its doors for the first time 25 years ago, the initially, manageably sized niche-market showcase has evolved into the leading international trade fair for its industry. CONTROL has developed its internationally outstanding position in keeping with the growing significance of quality assurance from a desirable but not obligatory “add-on” to an essential constituent of today’s production environment. And the event will be more international than ever on the occasion of its anniversary. Above all South America is currently showing its strength. A total of well over 800 exhibitors from roughly 30 countries will present their offerings at the silver anniversary at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre.
Pioneering supplementary events round out the comprehensive information package. Amongst others, these include the special show entitled “Contactless Measurement Technology” under the direction of the Fraunhofer Vision Alliance. Capacity, which has once again been expanded due to strong demand in 2011, is already almost entirely filled up. Furthermore, the Fraunhofer IPA will organise an event forum at CONTROL 2011covering the topic of “Computer Tomography for Industrial Use”, which will provide visitors with the opportunity of gathering extensive information in a targeted fashion regarding this forward-looking technology, and possible applications for industrial CT. The forum will emphasise processing and evaluation of CT data with the help of software. Once again in 2011, the time tested exhibitor forum will intensify contact between expert visitors and suppliers, and will offer practically oriented information regarding current products and methods.
