2nd Stanztec Celebrated as a Success

With more than 3000 expert visitors and broad acceptance within industry, amongst the institutions and in state politics, the Stanztec trade fair for stamping technology has conclusively established itself.

160 exhibitors, 37,500 square feet of booked exhibition floor space, three completely occupied halls, 3158 expert visitors and thus growth in visitor numbers of more than 4% compared with Stanztec in 2009 – Stanztec has conclusively established itself as the industry meeting place for all stamping technology issues with these impressive figures.

Above all local manufacturers and suppliers of stamping technology strictly in the form of tooling, production equipment, periphery devices and technical stamping products presented their companies at the CCP Congress Centre in Pforzheim from the 22nd through the 24th of June. And this was taken note of in favourable light by highly interested technical circles, as well as economic associations, the municipal authorities and state politics.

The products and services offered by the 160 exhibitors were of course at the forefront, and they were pleased at the end of the event with the very lively and highly concrete interest expressed by the numerous expert visitors. The strong decision making authority of the visitors was stressed in particular, which can also be seen as clear substantiation of the great importance of Stanztec. And thus within a very short period of time, Stanztec has succeeded in evolving into stamp for quality, and in drawing more attention to stamping technology as an important sector within the overall economic fabric of the metalworking industry and beyond.

However, the transitional phase from the original event as a regional showcase to a small but powerful trade fair with international expert visitors has come to an end with the 2nd Stanztec. The changeover to the targeted biennial schedule will now follow, and Stanztec will then alternate with the trade fair duo comprised of BLECHexpo and SCHWEISStec.

The 3rd Stanztec will one again take place at the CCP Congress Centre in Pforzheim from the 19th through the 21st of June, 2012.
